At Aetion, we’re passionate about solving the rising cost in healthcare, the lack of transparency behind treatments, and the value they provide individual patients. We connect disparate data sources to assess trends between health care prescriptions and their outcomes. Our mission is to uncover unique insights about which healthcare treatments work best for every individual.

Our marketing team takes ownership of their work and is encouraged to continually iterate and uncover unique opportunities. Whether it be recommending new channels, partnerships, or tools – we dive deep, stay connected to the details, and do the hard work of thinking. We provide the autonomy and infrastructure for team members to continually challenge the status quo. We’re in the drivers seat of our own development.

Internally, we care deeply about showing our desire to learn – not just impressing others with our knowledge. We create space to listen, and we listen to create space. We’ve built an environment where it’s safe to be your authentic self. We’re silly for serious work.

Our Chief Marketing Officer, Liz, has been very thoughtful about putting a clear communication cascade in place from our leadership team to all employees. As a result, our team is encouraged to actively make autonomous decisions and share from our learnings. 

Although we plan for success, the course we chart matters as much just as where we land. We sometimes fail, but we don’t waste the failure. Quality counts, but our ultimate measure is impact, not perfection. 

If a team member has an idea, we provide the resources and tools to run with it and see what they can do. Even if the concept fails, we encouraged them to pivot or try again.

Our internal focus on health and wellness reflects the core values of our industry-leading product. We understand that each individual is unique and requires nuanced benefits to cater for their specific needs.

Each full-time employee receives a free membership to One Medical, as well as generous insurance options, covering everything from medical, dental, and vision. We offer spending accounts for health care and dependent care, as well as a dedicated stipend towards wellness related expenses. Gym memberships and fitness classes are a team favorite.

The care for our teams wellbeing extends beyond just our human family. If your pets have an accident or unexpectedly get sick, we off solutions to offset costs and focus on getting them the care they deserve.

Although each team member has a unique role, we’re all aspiring to the same end goal. Our team is encouraged to lead at all levels. 

We embrace our role as leaders and don’t hide behind titles. It’s expected that every day, each of us contributes the same shared effort to our company and culture. We lead best when we inspire leadership in others. 

Any member within our marketing team will have regular interaction with employees from all departments or levels of seniority. We hope to maintain our flat structure even as we grow as a company. This structure enables us to remain nimble and aligned with industry changes.

Our teams shared concept of work-life balance is something that continues to be discussed on a regular basis. As the notion of work progressively evolves, we’re passionate to remain at the forefront of new best practices, creating the most supportive environment possible.

We’re a results-driven team that instills trust in each individual. We understand that each team member thrives under their own unique circumstances. To cater for all working types, we’re not only flexible with working hours, but also support opportunities to work from home. 

Our vacation policy is there to be used. If team members don’t take their minimum vacation days each year, they’ll eventually lose them over time. This encourages everyone to use their well-earned time off to recharge.

Our marketing team is skilled and smart in measuring what matters. Whether it be reviewing marketing influence across different pipeline stages, developing reporting dashboards, providing performance insights, or running devise tests to assess and optimize promotion response models – we utilize data to drive all key decisions. We’re passionate about tangible details and are constantly seeking to learn, know, and do more.

Fast-Paced Environment

We’re a hypergrowth early-stage brand that serves a dynamic and exploding market. Even as we continue to grow, we can’t afford to move slowly or make “safe” calls. We’re not afraid to change priorities after gaining new insights or gathering new information. We don’t delay decision-making processes – a decision not made is still a decision.

Our marketing team is a versatile collective who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. We love to learn, share, and act on what we find in the most efficient, yet thoughtful manner.
